The Home Stretch

So, the Spring Semester is coming to a close (thankfully!). It's been extremely busy and much has happened so here's a quick little recap (accompanied by a few photos). Here goes...

A couple more pics from Spring Break:

Breakfast from the cozy (and difficult to find) Firs Lodge in London. Sausage, baked beans, fried egg and (real) bacon (thick & meaty rather than thin & fatty).

We were pretty tired at this point. Had to wake up a bit early so that we could get to the airport w/time to spare. We did get more sleep that night than any of the previous several nights though...

Travis trying on his new stunna-esque glasses at the Duty Free in Heathrow.

In addition to a long taxi upon arrival at LAX, we were treated to seeing the new Airbus A380 plane parked on the tarmac in the distance. That plane is bloody HUGE!

A couple of peeps I hadn't seen in a while. Well, hadn't seen Carie in months and I hadn't seen Paul since...Paris.

Me & Carie. Good to see you again after a long hiatus. It doesn't help that West LA is so far from Pasadena. Anyways, thanks for coming out to my side of town. And you should do it more often. And sorry about the brioche...

Crepe from Del Amo. It was filled with ham, egg & cheese and called the "Parisien" (I believe that's usually called the complet in France). Definitely not comprable to what I was used to having just a few weeks before...

Cousins came to town!!! Great seeing those kids. Also got to hang out with Aunty Paula & Uncle Lance as well. Oh family... (L->R: Josh, Caitlin, Me & Brittany)

And, the bro. He'll be off to uni next year and in the same place (metaphorically...not literally as in USC) where I was just 5 years ago. Remarkable.

Add on top of all that the fact that I left Apple at the beginning of the month to focus on school and it's been insane. I will miss those folks over at the store. Had a lot of fun with those guys...
Anyhow, I wish you all the best with life over the next few weeks. We're entering May and that means graduation season is upon us (USC Graduation is on May 11, Punahou Graduation on June 2 by the by). Hope some of you can make it over! Take care and I'll be posting more soon (after all this school work) now that I have my (old) digi cam back (all repaired and working properly). Peace!
