First thing's first. Here are some pics from the "big day" that was Commencement. I'm glad to have had a chance to see everyone. In the interest of time (and because I don't have pictures of everyone on hand), here are just a few pics from the day.
My awesome family. It made me extremely happy that not only were my parents able to fly up, but also my Aunty & Grandparents (from out of country). Too bad my brother was too busy, running in the Track & Field State Championships, to make it.
Me & Brad. How the heck did Brandon get in the background of yet another picture?
Me, Cadet Ng & Cadet Nakamura.
Josh & I. Thanks for coming all the way from Pepperdine!
Carie & I by the bookstore. Luckily we arranged to meet up there because shortly after seeing her, I saw...
Ryan, Ryan, Claudia, Me, Cat, Jeanine & Darren. We all sorta just ran into each other purely by coincidence. How fortunate!
Darren, Melissa & I. The original Freshman gang. While Darren & I have known each other forever, we met Melissa at Freshman Orientation in Hawaii and decided to schedule exactly the same classes so we would have friends in class! What a brilliant idea!
And lastly, but not least, I had a very enjoyable last few days in the City of Angels thanks to some very cool friends. Here's my shout out to those individuals:
Grant. There is no one else on Earth quite like you. Thanks for sharing your interest in motorcycles and making my weekends just that much more interesting. Stay crazy dude.
This Golden Gopher here is not a friend of mine. He does, however, stand in for Kim & Brad who I had a chance to hang out with one last time on my final night in LA. We had an awesome dinner at Morel's (during which we didn't get a picture together out of respect for Kim's reluctance to snap photos in restaurants) and we made it over to the Golden Gopher for Paul's 21st. Thanks to the two of you for all the memories we've had in Paris and SC as well as all the good times to come.
So with that, and my apologies for sounding rather cliche, graduation closes a very important chapter of my life and begins yet another. It'll be exciting to see where I go from here! Well, I hope you all enjoyed this little photo blog. Take care and stay tuned for my next post...whenever that comes. Au Revoir!
