The Sues in SF

Nothing like having family in town and getting the chance to play tour guide for a wee bit. Check it out.

Uncle Phil & Aunty Annie dropped by for a visit from wintry NZ! Here, we've just finished a yummy lunch at the Ferry Building in SF and you can see the weather decided to cooperate (for once). In the background: Treasure Island, Yerba Buena Island and the Bay Bridge.

Heading west, you can see SF being, well, SF. Nothing like gusty winds and fog to liven up your day. What other view would you expect of the Golden Gate bridge?

What a difference a few miles makes. Beautiful weather and a beautiful view of SF city from Sausalito.

Outdoor sculpture in Sausalito. Caught my eye as we walked on by...

Dinner @ Fish (in Sausalito if you can recall). Portuguese red chowder. Spicy (but not too much).

The venerable hamachi poke. Always a winner. This time with homemade potato chips rather than the yam ones I had last time 'round.

Beer battered fish & chips. Tasty, but not as good as Browns Bay Fisheries...

Lunch on the 2nd day from Crepevine in Burlingame. My Santa Fe crepe (eggs, chicken apple sausage & provolone) with some house potatoes and mixed green salad.

Mum got to join us for lunch and we all stuffed ourselves full of food before walking around the Burlingame Art & Jazz festival.

Air freshener rocks scented with "Monkey Farts" (coconut + orange + banana...how clever).

Busy weekend, plenty of driving but heaps of fun!
